STEP 1:

Apply from 11 March to 15 April 2025 via the Western Cape Education Department’s online system.

Register yourself and your child – (please REMEMBER your login details & password).

To print your proof of online application – follow these steps:

Log in via http://admissions.westerncape.gov.za

• On the left hand side of the screen – click on TRACK APPLICATION STATUS
• Find the schools of your choice (for example: HENDRIK LOUW)
• Click on the PRINT option – print the 2-page document

STEP 2:

Within 7 days of your WCED online application, hand in the following documents at the school reception or send it via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

• Hendrik Louw application form (COMPULSORY), see link below
• Learner’s unabridged birth certificate
• ID’s of both parents
• Proof of home address
• Clinic card
• Latest report
• Transfer card (if applicable)
• Colour photo of learner
• Proof of your online application (2-pages)
